2013 Ole Miss Cross Country Schedule

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss' 2013 cross country schedule features a number of high-level meets for the up-and-coming Rebel program. Head coach Brian O'Neal announced the schedule on Friday.

The Ole Miss women are coming off their best year in school history after a fourth-place showing at the 2012 SEC Championships and a national championship appearance by departed senior Katie Breathitt.

A talented recruiting haul will help bolster the men's and women's rosters that already include several runners from last season.

Ole Miss begins the season in nearby Memphis, Tenn., for the Brooks Memphis Twilight Classic (Aug. 31). They will travel to Vanderbilt's Commodore Classic (Sept. 14) and Virginia's Panorama Farms Invitational (Sept. 28) leading up to the Pre-National meet in Terre Haute, Ind. (Oct. 19), that will feature many of the nation's elite teams and runners.

The 2013 SEC Championships will be held in Gainesville, Fla., on Friday, Nov. 1. The Rebels will then run in the NCAA South Regional in Tuscaloosa, Ala. (Nov. 15) to try to qualify for the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute (Nov. 23).
