Recap

Ole Miss Head Coach Matt Insell

On the game…
"We battled. We were right on the cusp. LSU has a great basketball team, one of the best teams in this league. We had to rebound really well, and we did for the most part. In the end, we stopped boxing out and that hurt us. Our kids played with a lot of heart and we just came up short against a very good basketball team. It's a process, and we are in every one of them. We put ourselves in a position to win a big game today."

On five players playing 30+ minutes…
"When they get going and kids are playing well together, you just stick with those kids. They don't want a break and want to keep battling. They weren't tired, but we just didn't make the plays we needed to win. We're going to make those plays. I told Shequila (Joseph) and Gracie (Frizzell) both to keep shooting, but it just wasn't their night. When a team plays zone, you have to make some threes."

On Diara Moore…
"I'm proud of Diara; she battled all night. She was a key against the zone, driving the ball and getting in the paint. She created shots for herself and others with 17 points and four assists. She played with a lot of heart."
