Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the exploits of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a huge presence in the NFL again this year with 20 former Rebels currently on NFL rosters, including such stars as two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning and seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker Patrick Willis.

Five former Rebels earned a starting nod for their teams in week eight, with Donte Moncrief catching his first NFL touchdown while setting career highs in receptions and yards.

Here's a rundown of how each former Rebel performed in week eight of the 2014 NFL season:

Saw action in the Pats' 51-23 win against Chicago.

#76 Greg Hardy | DE | Carolina Panthers
Placed on the exempt list.

#77 John Jerry | OG | New York Giants
Giants' bye week

Rishaw Johnson | OG | Dallas Cowboys
On the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad.

#21 Kendrick Lewis | FS | Houston Texans
Started at FS and recorded three tackles in a 30-16 win at Tennessee.

#10 Eli Manning | QB | New York Giants
Giants' bye week

#70 Bobby Massie | OT | Arizona Cardinals
Started at right tackle as the Cardinals beat the Eagles 24-20.

#38 Trumaine McBride | CB | New York Giants
Placed on season-ending IR.

#22 Dexter McCluster | RB/PR | Tennessee Titans
Rushed once and hauled in four passes for 39 yards in the Titans' loss against Houston.

#10 Donte Moncrief | WR | Indianapolis Colts
Set career highs with seven receptions for 113 yards and scored his first NFL touchdown. VIDEO: Donte Moncrief Highlights

#72 Michael Oher | OT | Tennessee Titans
Started at right tackle for the Titans in a 30-16 loss against Houston on Sunday.

#58 Ashlee Palmer | LB | Detroit Lions
Recorded a tackle in the Lions' comeback win in London.

#78 Jermey Parnell | OT | Dallas Cowboys
Started at RT as the Cowboys lost on MNF to the Redskins.

#95 Jerrell Powe | NT | Houston Texans
Recorded a tackle in the win at Tennessee.

#24 Jamarca Sanford | SS | Washington Redskins
Saw action in Washington's 20-17 OT win at Dallas on MNF.

#79 Bradley Sowell | OT | Arizona Cardinals
Saw action in the Cardinals' 24-20 win against Philadelphia.

#60 Chris Spencer | OL | Tennessee Titans
Saw action in a 30-16 loss to the Texans.

#29 Cassius Vaughn | CB | Detroit Lions
