Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the exploits of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a huge presence in the NFL again this year with 20 former Rebels currently on NFL rosters, including such stars as two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning and seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker Patrick Willis.
Seven former Rebels earned a starting nod for their teams in week five, with Manning contributing two scores and Willis leading his team in tackles.
Here's a rundown of how each former Rebel performed in week five of the 2014 NFL season:
#38 Brandon Bolden | RB | New England Patriots
Rushed once in a 43-17 win against the Bengals.
#76 Greg Hardy | DE | Carolina Panthers
Placed on the exempt list.
#77 John Jerry | OG | New York Giants
Started at right guard for the Giants' 30-20 win over Atlanta.
Rishaw Johnson | OG | Dallas Cowboys
On the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad
#21 Kendrick Lewis | FS | Houston Texans
Started at FS and intercepted Tony Romo while recording three tackles in the loss to the Cowboys.
#10 Eli Manning | QB | New York Giants
Threw for 200 yards on 19-30 passing with two touchdowns. During the Giants' three-game winning streak, Manning has thrown for 734 yards with eight touchdowns and only one interception. VIDEO: Manning 42-yard pass
#70 Bobby Massie | OT | Arizona Cardinals
Started at right tackle in the Cardinals' 41-20 loss at Denver.
#38 Trumaine McBride | CB | New York Giants
Recorded seven tackles in the 30-20 win against Atlanta on Sunday.
#22 Dexter McCluster | RB/PR | Tennessee Titans
Rushed three times and caught two passes in the Titans' lost against Cleveland.
#10 Donte Moncrief | WR | Indianapolis Colts
Saw action in the 20-13 win against the Ravens.
#72 Michael Oher | OT | Tennessee Titans
Started at right tackle for the Titans in a 29-28 loss against Cleveland on Sunday.
#58 Ashlee Palmer | LB | Detroit Lions
Recorded two tackles and broke up a pass in the Lions' 17-14 loss against Buffalo.
#78 Jermey Parnell | OT | Dallas Cowboys
Saw action in a 20-17 win over Houston on Sunday.
#95 Jerrell Powe | NT | Houston Texans
Started at NT for Texans in the loss at Dallas.
#24 Jamarca Sanford | SS | Washington Redskins
Recorded two tackles in the Redskins' loss on MNF to the Seahawks.
#79 Bradley Sowell | OT | Arizona Cardinals
Saw action in the Cardinals' 41-20 loss at the Broncos on Sunday.
#60 Chris Spencer | OL | Tennessee Titans
Saw action in a 29-28 loss against the Browns.
#29 Cassius Vaughn | CB | Detroit Lions
Inactive for the Lions loss against Buffalo.
