1. What made you choose Ole Miss and why?
I chose Ole Miss because I fell in love with the beautiful campus and opportunity to experience college away from home. I knew Ole Miss was the right place for me to play softball because I love being the underdog and I wanted to be a part of changing a program into a contender in the SEC.
2. What are your goals for the season?
My goals for the team this season is to make it to the SEC Tournament, to the NCAA Tournament and to go as far as we can in each. My personal goal is to be an All-American and to be the team leader.
3. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself working as a Kindergarten teacher and helping shape the youth of our society. I also see myself married and raising a family of my own.
4. What's something that most people don't know about you?
While my brother and I were playing club baseball and softball, my family would travel and visit as many Major League baseball parks as we could. I have been to seven and my favorite park was Wrigley Field of the Chicago Cubs.
5. If you could meet anyone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would love to meet Derek Jeter because I think he is an excellent example of a well-rounded and grounded athlete. I would love to pick his brain about mental approach to the game.
6. Do you have any superstitions that are habits before the game?
Yes, saying a prayer before each game either alone or with my teammates.
7. If you had a day off from softball, what would you do?
If I had a day off from softball I would most likely spend it relaxing by either wandering around in Oxford and shopping or just hanging at home.
8. What is your favorite class at Ole Miss and why?
My favorite class is Creative Writing because it allows me to be free and open to use my imagination in writing. I enjoy being able to pick up a pen and write what comes to mind.
