OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss men's and women's cross country teams have earned 2013 Division I All-Academic status from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, the organization announced this week.

To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better and have started at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional championship.

The Rebel women accumulated a 3.38 team GPA, while the men have a 3.10. It's the fourth straight year that both teams have received this distinction.

At the NCAA South Regional in Tuscaloosa back in November, the women placed fifth out of 27 teams, while the men came in ninth out of 26.
