Softball Doubleheader Moves to Saturday

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Ole Miss and South Carolina softball teams have shifted their schedules again, and will now play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. CT at Carolina Softball Stadium at Beckham Field. Sunday's game will move back to its original start time of 12 p.m. CT.
The Rebels (19-13, 3-6 Southeastern Conference) and Gamecocks' (19-12, 2-7 SEC) series opener Friday was postponed due to rain in the area. The two schools had originally planned on playing a doubleheader Sunday, but with the storm system moving out of the area quicker than anticipated, Ole Miss and South Carolina will now play their doubleheader Saturday afternoon.
