Morris Completes Play At NCAA Regional

AUBURN, Ala. - Junior Blake Morris posted a 4-over par 76 in the third and final round of the NCAA Auburn Regional in Auburn, Alabama, Saturday.
Morris birdied the second and sixth holes and finished the front nine just 1-over par at the par-72 Auburn University Club, but carded a 3-over par on the back nine en route to a 76 in the final round of play. He tied for 64th place and finished fifth among individuals with a three-round score of 235.
The top individual finisher and the top five teams will advance to the NCAA Championships, which will take place May 23-28 at the Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas.
SEC champion Alabama captured the regional crown, while Kennesaw State, Auburn, Virginia Tech and Texas rounded out the top five. Marco Iten of Austin Peay State claimed the individual title and will advance as an individual to the NCAA Championships.
