Chadwick's Top Moments: No. 5

Counting down the top moments in coach Chadwick's career, wetake a look at the 2009 Ole Miss tennis team's success along with a couple ofindividual milestones.Â
Chadwick led the Rebels to their fifth overall SoutheasternConference Championship in 2009. TheRebels won the title in convincing fashion, going undefeated in conference playfor the second time in program history. The Rebels dominated the nation's toughest conference in the regularseason as well as the postseason. OleMiss finished the regular season 11-0, with wins over No. 4 Georgia, No. 5Tennessee, No. 7 Florida, No. 13 Kentucky, and No. 16 South Carolina. The Rebels continued the streak into the SECTournament by going undefeated and winning the SEC Tournament Championship forthe second consecutive season, leading to Kalle Norberg earning SEC TournamentMVP honors. Norberg went 3-0 in singlesand doubles during the tournament and also went 9-0 in the SEC in the regularseason. Â
With five overall SEC Championships, Chadwick trails onlylegendary football coach John Vaught for most SEC titles won at Ole Miss in anysport (6).
The Rebels also advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight for theninth time in program history. TheRebels took down two host teams en route to the Elite Eight, including LSU inBaton Rouge, Louisiana, and Texas A&M in College Station, Texas,respectively. The Rebels would end theseason losing to UCLA 4-3, finishing the season 27-3 and ranked No. 4 in thefinal polls. This marked the seventhtime in Ole Miss history for the Rebels to end the season ranked in the topfive.
