NFL REBELS: Weekly Update 09.23

Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the exploits of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a huge presence in the NFL again this year with 20 former Rebels currently on NFL rosters, including such stars as two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning and seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker Patrick Willis.

Seven former Rebels earned a starting nod for their teams in week three, while Willis and Kendrick Lewis led their teams in tackles.

Here's a rundown of how each former Rebel performed in week three of the 2014 NFL season:

#38 Brandon Bolden | RB | New England Patriots
Rushed two times in a 16-9 win against Oakland on Sunday.

#76 Greg Hardy | DE | Carolina Panthers
Was inactive for the Panthers' 37-19 loss against the Steelers on Sunday Night Football.

#77 John Jerry | OG | New York Giants
Started at right guard for the Giants' 30-17 win against Houston on Sunday.

#65 Rishaw Johnson | OG | Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Inactive for the Bucs' 56-14 loss to Atlanta on Thursday night.

#21 Kendrick Lewis | FS | Houston Texans
Started at free safety and led the Texans with 12 tackles while forcing a fumble in the loss to the Giants on Sunday.

#10 Eli Manning | QB | New York Giants
Carved up the Texans by completing 21 of 28 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns in the Giants' 30-17 win on Sunday. VIDEO: Eli Manning highlights from the Giants' win over Houston

#70 Bobby Massie | OT | Arizona Cardinals
Started at right tackle in a 23-14 win over the 49ers on Sunday.

#38 Trumaine McBride | CB | New York Giants
Recorded six tackles in the 30-17 win against Houston on Sunday.

#22 Dexter McCluster | RB/PR | Tennessee Titans
Rushed once and caught two passes for 15 yards in the Titans' 33-7 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

#10 Donte Moncrief | WR | Indianapolis Colts
Caught a career-high four passes for 55 yards while also recording one rush for seven yards in the Colts' 44-17 blowout of the Jaguars on Sunday.

#72 Michael Oher | OT | Tennessee Titans
Started at right tackle for the Titans in a 33-7 loss at the Cowboys on Sunday.

#58 Ashlee Palmer | LB | Detroit Lions
Saw action in a 19-7 win against Green Bay on Sunday.

#78 Jermey Parnell | OT | Dallas Cowboys
Saw action in a 34-31 win at St. Louis on Sunday.

#95 Jerrell Powe | NT | Houston Texans
Recorded three tackles in a 30-17 loss at the New York Giants on Sunday.

Gerald Rivers | DE | Miami Dolphins
Member of the Dolphins' practice squad.

#79 Bradley Sowell | OT | Arizona Cardinals
Saw action in the Cardinals' 25-14 win against the 49ers on Sunday.

#60 Chris Spencer | OL | Tennessee Titans
Saw action in a 33-7 loss at Cincinnati on Sunday.

#29 Cassius Vaughn | CB | Detroit Lions
Inactive for the Lions' 19-7 win against Green Bay on Sunday.

#11 Mike Wallace | WR | Miami Dolphins
Started at WR and led the Dolphins with five catches for 74 yards while rushing once for 12 yards in a 34-15 loss against Kansas City on Sunday.

#52 Patrick Willis | LB | San Francisco 49ers
Started at inside linebacker and led the 49ers defense with five tackles in a 23-14 loss at Arizona on Sunday.
