El Kamash to Represent Rebels at All-American

OXFORD, Miss. - After a successful opening weekend of competition for the Ole Miss women's tennis team two weeks ago, junior Mai El Kamash picks up action this weekend in California at the Riviera ITA All-American Championships.
The junior from Cairo, Egypt will be competing in the pre-qualifying singles beginning Saturday at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. El Kamash will face Tristan Dewar of Clemson in the first round at 3 p.m. CT. Eight players who win three matches will advance to the qualifying tournament, which begins Tuesday.
REBELS AT ITA ALL-AMERICAN...
Ole Miss has had success at the All-American Championships with four-time All-American Paloma Collantes twice winning the singles title in 1992 and 1994.
SUCCESSFUL FALL START...
The Rebels had a successful start to the fall season two weeks ago winning the singles and doubles titles at the Country Club of Little Rock Invitational. Freshman Arianne Hartono won the singles title, beating the No. 68 ranked player in the nation. She also teamed up with El Kamash to capture the doubles title.
