El Kamash Drops Qualifying Match at All-American

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - Ole Miss Women's Tennis junior Mai El Kamash lost a tight two-setter in the first round of qualifying at the Riviera ITA All-American Championships Tuesday at the Riviera Country Club.
El Kamash fell to Stanford's Ellen Tsay, 6-4, 6-4. At 3-3 in the first set, El Kamash, was broken. Tsay broke El Kamash at the beginning of the second set, but she was able to break back for 3-3. Unfortunately, Tsay broke El Kamash again at 4-4 and held serve to win it.
The Rebels are back in action Oct. 10-13 at the ITA Southern Regional in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
