OXFORD, Miss. - Following another outstanding performance to help lead the Ole Miss Volleyball team to the Memphis Invitational last weekend, junior middle blocker Nakeyta Clair was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week, as announced Monday by the league office.

The Country Club Hills, Illinois native, was named the Memphis Invitational MVP after posting double-digit kills in all three matches, including a career-high 20 against UT-Martin, to lead the Rebels to their second straight tournament title and their best start since the 2007 season.

With the Rebels facing match point in the fifth set against Memphis, Clair's 18th kill tied the set, as the Rebels went on to win it 16-14. For the week, she owned a .463 hitting percentage and recorded 55 kills and nine total blocks.

It marked the second straight week for Clair to be named tournament MVP, as she also earned the honor at the Buffalo Classic.

Ole Miss, the only remaining undefeated team in the SEC, will host the first of consecutive tournaments this weekend, with the Magnolia Invitational. The Rebels will face UAB in their home opener Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Gillom Sports Center.
