No. 17 Rifle to Compete in Withrow Invitational

OXFORD, Miss. - The No. 17 ranked Ole Miss rifle team returns to action Sunday at the Withrow Invitational in Murray, Ky., hosted by Murray State at the Pat Spurgin Range.
Other programs participating in the Withrow Invitational are No. 4 Kentucky, No. 9 Memphis, No. 3 Jacksonville State, No. 16 UT Martin and No. 8 Murray State.
The Rebels are coming off a narrow loss to NC State last Sunday and looking to build off one of their better scores of the season. Sophomore Alison Weisz led the Rebels in both smallbore and air rifle last weekend.
"We have some momentum going for us and look to keep it going for this weekend," head coach Valerie Boothe said. "We have a great chance at replacing one of our scores for qualification and we intend to put our best shots on the target."
