In anticipation of the 2015 season, OleMissSports.com is bringing fans of Ole Miss Softball and the Rebel Nation a look at the players who will make up the latest incarnation of the Rebels on the softball field.
We'll take a look at what makes each player unique, how they came to choose Ole Miss as their home and family for their collegiate career and what they hope to do after college.
Melina Preciado

Major: Communications Sciences and Disorders
1. What made you choose Ole Miss and why?
Well, I was first going to Memphis then my coach got the job at Ole Miss and everything fell into place, and playing in the SEC has always been my dream.
2. What are your goals for the season?
I want to become a better player as a whole, and help contribute to this program. I also want to make it into the NCAA tournament.
3. Where do you see yourself in ten years?
I want to be working in either a hospital or a school as a speech therapist, with young children. I also want to be married by then.
4. What's something that most people don't know about you?
I have three sisters and one older brother.
5. If you could meet anyone living or dead, who would it be and Why?
I would like to meet Ronda Rousey, because she seems so intense and determined. I would like to know how she disciplines herself to be an amazing athlete.
6. Do you have any superstitions that are habits before the game?
No
7. If you had a day off from softball, what would you do?
Lie in bed all day and watch movies.
8. What is your favorite class at Ole Miss and why?
My CSD 216 class would be my favorite because it's my major, and it's really interesting to me.
