OXFORD, Miss. -
Ole Miss loses both its starting middle blockers to graduation this year, and head coach Steven McRoberts announced Monday the final member of the 2016 class is Nayo Warnell, a 6-1 middle blocker from Dickinson, Texas.

Warnell earned first team All-District honors in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and second team All-County in both 2014 and 2015. She was named to the Vype Magazine Top 50 Houston Volleyball Players from 2013-2015.

Named to the MaxPrep Preseason Watch List, Warnell finished her career with more than 1,000 kills, hit .332 and totaled 334 blocks.

Warnell played club for the Lone Star Club Team of the Year, AVA and helped lead them to the 17 Open National Championship in 2015.

"Playing for AVA, Nayo has played at a very high level against the best in the nation," McRoberts said. "She has good size, great athleticism, and the thing that we love about her right now is that she's just a great blocker. We expect her to compete right away at the middle blocker position. Nayo is going to be great in the SEC, especially from a blocking standpoint."
