Ole Miss hits the road for the first of three straight road games when it travels to Murfreesboro, Tenn., to take on Middle Tennessee on Sunday. The game will be televised on Fox Sports and will tip off at 1 pm CT with Paul Werme and Debbie Antonelli on the call.

Starting Five
1. Ole Miss dropped back-to-back games for the first time this season with a 91-78 set back to Missouri State on Thursday night at Tad Smith Coliseum. The Rebels were led by Oxford native Erika Sisk who had a team-best 18 points while Shequila Joseph tallied her first career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds

2. Erika Sisk not only led the team from the floor with her 18 points but she was a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line. On the season, Sisk is 13-of-15 from the line, shooting at a .867 clip. Sisk has been perfect from the line six other instances with at least five attempts.

3. Junior Shequila Joseph snapped her scoring drought in a big way against Missouri State. Joseph, who was scoreless through the first two games, scored 16 points and added 10 rebounds for her first career double-double. Joseph's 16 points are the most she's scored since her freshman season.

4. Freshman Cecilia Muhate Pena and Alissa Alston earned their first career starts against Missouri State. The last time Ole Miss started a pair of freshman was Feb. 15, 2015 when both A'Queen Hayes and Shandricka Sessom earned the nod against Missouri

5. Ole Miss is one of the youngest teams in the SEC with no seniors and just two players who have been in the program more than two years in Bretta Hart and Shequila Joseph. Of its 13 players, nine are freshmen or sophomores. Although some of the sophomores got quite a it of experience with Kelsey Briggs, A'Queen Hayes and Shandricka Sessom each playing in over 30 games last season.

Ole Miss vs. Middle Tennessee Notables
-This will be the third meeting in the last two years between Ole Miss and Middle Tennessee with the Blue Raiders owning a, 2-0 record in the series. This will be the final Father-Son matchup for the Insell family.

-Prior to joining the Ole Miss staff, Ole Miss assistant coach Alex Simmons served as an assistant coach at Middle Tennessee under the elder Insell and also played for Rick Insell in high school. Current Middle Tennessee assistant coach Shalon Pillow worked with the younger Insell at Kentucky.

-The teams will take on common opponents in Alabama, Missouri State, Kentucky, Western Kentucky and Southern Miss. Ole Miss is 57-28 all-time against teams from C-USA.

A Win Would
-Give Ole Miss head coach Matt Insell his first win over his father, Rick Insell. It would also snap Ole Miss' current three-game skid to the Blue Raiders

-Move the Rebels 14 wins way from the 800th victory in program history. Ole Miss' current record is 785-475. The earliest Ole Miss could hit the 800th win would be on Jan. 18 at Mississippi State.

Number of triples freshman Torri Lewis had against UL-Lafayette just one shy of the freshman record for three-pointers set by Shae Nelson in 2011. Additionally it was two shy of the Tad Smith record for three-pointers set by Gracie Frizzell last season.

17.7 - Number of points, Ole Miss' leading scorer Shandricka Sessom is averaging. Sessom has been in double figures every game this season and in her last four contests dating back to last season. Her 17.7 points currently ranks fifth in the SEC.

19- Number of rebounds Bretta Hart had against UL-Lafayette. Hart, who entered the season averaging 2.1 rebounds per game, is averaging 10.0 rebounds per game through the first three games.

20- Number of points Torri Lewis scored against UL-Lafayette. Lewis scored 17 of her 20 points in the fourth quarter and 18 of her points came from the three point line.

264- Number of points Erika Sisk needs to hit the 1,000-point milestone. The Oxford native has scored over 300 points in each of her two collegiate seasons and seems poised to become Ole Miss' 27th 1,000- point scorer in school history.

Scouting Middle Tennessee
Middle Tennessee enters Sunday's contest with a 0-2 record after dropping games to Virginia and Central Michigan to open the season. The Blue Raiders fell 81-59 to the Central Michigan Chippewa's on Thursday in their last outing. Brea Edwards is leading the Middle Tennessee offense averaging 20.5 points per game while Rebecca Reuter is pulling down 7.0 rebounds per game. Ty Petty and Abby Sissom are also in double figures with 12.5 and 10.0 points per game, respectively. The Blue Raiders are averaging 62.5 points per game and 36.0 rebounds per game, while opponents are scoring 75.5 points per game and grabbing 45.0 rebounds.

About Ole Miss
Sophomore Shandricka Sessom leads the Rebels offense averaging 17.7 points per game and has reached double figures in each game this season. Bretta Hart leads the rebounding efforts with 10.0 rebounds per game. Erika Sisk is the only other Rebel in double figures with 13.0 points per game but Madinah Muhammad and Torri Lewis are nearing double figures averaging, 9.0 points per game. As a team, Ole Miss is averaging 84.3 points per game and grabbing 50.3 rebounds per game. Ole Miss has played its best basketball late this season and is averaging 50.5 points in the third and fourth quarters.

Ole Miss heads to the Big Apple for two games on Long Island. Ole Miss will take on Stony Brook on Friday, Nov. 27 before closing their Big Apple adventure at Wagner on Nov. 29. The Stony Brook game tips at 1 pm CT and the Wagner game will start at 12 p.m.
