Ole Miss Wraps Up Fall Play in Hawaii

PRINCEVILLE, Hawaii - Junior Ben Wolcott posted a 2-under 70 in the final round of the Warrior Princeville Invitational Wednesday to earn a top-25 finish, as Ole Miss wrapped up fall play.
The Dickson, Tennessee native posted four birdies in the third round at the 7,223-yard Makai Golf Club and finished in a tie for 22nd overall with a three-round total of 214. As a team, Ole Miss finished in 12th place with a three-day total of 869.
"This was a very disappointing way to end our fall season," said Ole Miss head coach Chris Malloy. "The good news is that we have the offseason to address our weaknesses and be better by the time the spring season rolls around."
Junior Noah West carded a 1-over 73 in the third round and finished in a tie for 36th with a three-round total of 217. Freshman Braden Thornberry followed up yesterday's 69 with a 2-over 74 in the third round and finished tied for 28th with tournament total of 216. Senior Connor Davis posted a 4-over 76 Wednesday and finished the tournament tied for 62nd, while follow senior Forrest Gamble finished in a tie for 65th after a third round 77. Freshman Beau Briggs, who is competing as an individual, carded a 1-under 71 in the final round and finished the tournament in a tie for 79th.
Ole Miss returns to action next spring with the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate beginning Feb. 22.
