1. Ole Miss got back in the winners circle with a 97-59 win over New Orleans on Monday. Torri Lewis had the hot hand and nailed a Tad Smith Coliseum record 10 three-pointers en route to a career-high 36 points. Lewis' 10 triples are the most for an SEC player this season. Classmate Jonell Williams added 10 rebounds in the win.
2. Torri Lewis' 36 points was the most for an Ole Miss player since Tia Faleru had 31 points against Kentucky in the 2013-14 season. It was Lewis' second career game in double figures behind her 20 points vs. UL-Lafayette on Nov. 15 and the most points for a Ole Miss freshman in their first career start.
3. Jonell Williams picked up her first career game with double figure rebounds with 10 rebounds against the Privateers. Williams is averaging 7.2 rebounds, which is second best on the team. In 59 minutes, Williams is averaging 1.8 rebounds per minute.
4. This will be the fifth meeting between Ole Miss and Tulane and the first since the 2013-14 season. The all-time series is tied 2-2 with Ole Miss winning the last meeting, 89-66 in New Orleans. Tulane is the lone team from the American Athletic Conference the Rebels will face this season.
5. After scoring a season low 38 points against Southern Miss, Ole Miss rebounded with a season-best 97 points against New Orleans. The Rebels are averaging 76.0 points per game and have been held under 70 points on just two occasions. Ole Miss is 5-4 when reaching 70 points.
Ole Miss vs. Tulane Notables
-Ole Miss and Tulane will be meeting for the fifth time on the hardwood with the all-time series deadlocked at 2-2. The Rebels won the last meeting, 89-66 in New Orleans during the 2013-14 season.
-Tulane has no players from Mississippi but like the Rebels, the Green Wave have several international players in Caylah Cruickshank (Canada) and Ksenija Madzarevic (Serbia).
-Ole Miss is the second SEC opponent for the Green Wave as they defeated LSU earlier this season, 67-63, in New Orleans. The Green Wave have also defeated Power Five foe, Virginia and dropped a close contest to Florida State, 78-72
A Win Would
-Give the Rebels a 3-2 series advantage and move Ole Miss to 2-1 on their home floor against the Green Wave. It would also move Ole Miss to 41-17 against teams from the American Athletic Conference.
-Move the Rebels nine wins way from the 800th victory in program history. Ole Miss' current record is 790-476. The earliest Ole Miss could hit the 800th win would be on Jan. 28 at South Carolina and they would become the sixth SEC program to record 800 wins.
Rebels By The Numbers
3- Number of games Shandricka Sessom has scored 20 or more points this season. Sessom tallied a career-best 28 points against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and followed that with 20 points against Southern Miss for her first back-to-back games of 20 or more points.
10-Number of three-pointers freshman Torri Lewis scored against New Orleans. Her 10 triples tied former Ole Miss men's basketball player, Marshall Henderson for the most triples made at the Tad Pad and was two shy of the NCAA record of 12. She was the first Ole Miss women's basketball player to record double-digit three-pointers.
11- Number of consecutive games Ole Miss leading scorer Shandricka Sessom has scored in double figures. Sessom is averaging 18.1 points per game and is the fourth-best scorer in the SEC.
26.5- Number of turnovers Ole Miss is averaging through the last two games. Ole Miss has forced at least 25 turnovers in each of its last two games and in four games this season.
36 - Number of points Torri Lewis scored against New Orleans. She was three points shy of the Tad Smith record for points held by Peggie Gillom. Her 36 points are the most for an Ole Miss player this season and is tied for second most points scored by an SEC player this season.

4- Ole Miss will play five more games at the historic Tad Smith Coliseum before moving into the brand new Pavilion at Ole Miss. The opening weekend of the Pavilion will be Jan. 7-10 . Ole Miss will play its first game in its new home on Jan. 10 vs. Florida.
Scouting Tulane
Tulane enters Wednesday's game with a 5-3 record after a 74-55 win over McNeese State in it's last outing on Dec. 6 giving the Green Wave wins in their last two outings. Kolby Morgan leads the offense and is averaging 18.6 points per game, while Leslie Vorpahl is contributing 11.0 points per game. Harlyn Wyatt leads the team on the glass with 5.4 rebounds off the bench, while Tierra Jones Chinwe Duru and Morgan are each contributing better than 4.0 rebounds per contest. As a team, the Green Wave are averaging 68.8 points per game and 36.8 rebounds per game.
About Ole Miss
Sophomore Shandricka Sessom continues to lead the Ole Miss offense with 18.1 points per game and has reached double figures in each game this season and in 11 consecutive games dating back to last season. Her 18.1 points currently ranks fourth in the SEC. Erika Sisk is close to double figures with 9.8 points per game, while Madinah Muhammad, Shequila Joseph and Torri Lewis are nearing double digits with 7.2 and 7.1 points per game, respectively. Bretta Hart leads the rebounding efforts with 7.9 rebounds per game, while rookie Jonell Williams is contributing 7.2 boards per game. As a team, Ole Miss is averaging 76.0 points per game and grabbing 46.7 rebounds per game.
