OXFORD, Miss. - With the regular season winding down, the No. 17 Ole Miss rifle team prepares for a split weekend, hosting No. 11 Navy Saturday followed by traveling to No. 4 Jacksonville State on Sunday.

Saturday's match will get underway at 9 a.m, at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center. Sunday's match in Jacksonville will get started at 8 a.m at the Gamecock Rifle Range.

In their last action against No. 13 Akron, Freshman Jessica Haig led the Rebels in smallbore scoring a 571, with Alison Weisz following close behind with a 570. Weisz would go on to lead the Rebels in air rifle scoring a 586, while Haig trailed with a score of 584.

"This weekend being our last opportunities to put quality scores in the books this season, we are set on making it count," head coach Valerie Boothe said. "We came out on top the last time against Navy and I know they will be hungry to take that from us. It will be a good challenge."

Navy enters the Valentines Day match having lost to rival Army last Saturday 5786-5768. Jacksonville State is coming off of their fourth consecutive victory at the Ohio Valley Conference Rifle Championship last Sunday at its home range.
