Game Notes- vs. LSU - Game 28
Ole Miss closes out the regular-season home schedule with a showdown with the LSU Tigers on Thursday at 6 p.m. The Rebels will honor the 2014-15 senior class of Tia Faleru, Danielle McCray and Amber Singletary in a pregame ceremony. The game will broadcast live on SECN+ with Will Kollmeyer and Armintie Herrington on the call.

Starting Five
1. Ole Miss picked up its 400th win at Tad Smith Coliseum with a 67-59 upset win over No. 13/10 Kentucky on Monday night. It was the second win over a ranked opponent for Ole Miss this season and snapped Kentucky's six-game win streak against the Rebels. It also gave head coach Matt Insell his first win over his former team.
2. Danielle McCray had a career night with 13 points and 15 rebounds for her third career double-double and her first double-double of the season. McCray's 15 rebounds were a new career-high and marked her eighth career double-digit rebounding game. She also tallied a career-best four blocks.
3. Gracie Frizzell went 5-of-9 from long range in the win over Kentucky for her second game of 5+ three-pointers this season and the most for the Little Rock, Ark., native since drilling a career-best eight against Alabama. She nailed her 150th career three-pointer against Kentucky and is fourth on the all-time 3-PT field goals made list with 154
4. Tia Faleru posted her third straight game in double figures with 16 points against Kentucky. She has led Ole Miss in scoring on 15 occasions and has posted double-figure points 19 times this season. When Faleru is in double figures Ole Miss is 15-5 and when she reaches 20 points Ole Miss is 4-2.
5. Ole Miss is guaranteed of the first winning regular-season record since the 2009-10 season and is sitting at 16-11, 6-8 SEC entering Thursday's game. The 16 wins are the most since 2009-10 and the six SEC wins are also the most since 2009-10 when Ole Miss has seven SEC wins.
Ole Miss vs. LSU Notables
-This will be the 53rd meeting between Ole Miss and LSU and the second meeting this season. LSU took the first meeting, 70-41, holding Ole Miss to its lowest scoring output of the season. LSU has won the last six meetings between the teams but the series is tied 12-12 all-time in Oxford.
-There are several familiar faces as there are quite a few Tennessee connections. LSU head coach Nikki Caldwell played at Tennessee as did Ole Miss assistant coach Alex Simmons (Fuller) while Ole Miss head coach Matt Insell also spent time at Tennessee working with the men's and women's programs. Additionally, Caldwell, Insell and Simmons each hail from Tennessee.
-Ole Miss doesn't have any players from Louisiana although the Lady Tigers do have a player from nearby Memphis, Tenn., in junior Danielle Ballard.
A Win Would...
-Move Ole Miss to 17-8, 7-8 SEC and give Ole Miss its first win over LSU in the last seven meetings. It would also give the Rebels their third straight win and the first win over LSU in the Matt Insell era.
Rebels By The Numbers
3-Number of career double-doubles Danielle McCray has after a 13-point, 15-rebound outing against Kentucky. Her 15 rebounds were a career-high and it marked her first double-double of the 2014-15 season.
8-Number of three-pointers from Gracie Frizzell against Alabama on Jan. 11. The Little Rock, Arkansas native set a new Ole Miss single-game record and Tad Smith record. Her eight triples are the most in the SEC this season.
8-Number of assists Erika Sisk dished out against Kentucky. It was a career-high for the Oxford native and ties for the most assists by an Ole Miss player this season.
63-Number of times Tia Faleru has been in double figures throughout her career. With her 16 points against Kentucky, she has now been in double figures in three straight games and in four of Ole Miss' last five.
154-Number of three-point field goals Gracie Frizzell has drilled in her career. She moves into the top five all-time at Ole Miss and has the most triples since Bianca Thomas (2006-10) tallied 226 in her career.
Scouting LSU
LSU enters Thursday's game with a 15-11, 9-5 SEC record after falling on the road at Arkansas on Sunday. The Tigers have three players in double figures led by Danielle Ballard who is averaging 13.8 points per game. Raigyne Moncrief and DaShawn Harden are also in double figures with 11.2 and 10.2 points per game, respectively. Ballard leads the way on the glass with 7.3 rebounds per game while Moncrief and Sheila Boykin are contributing 6.9 and 6.6 boards per game. LSU is averaging 62.9 points per game and 38.7 rebounds per game.
About Ole Miss
Senior forward Tia Faleru continues to lead Ole Miss with 14.9 points per game and 10.6 rebounds per game. Faleru has scored in double figures in 22 of Ole Miss' 26 games and has grabbed eight or more rebounds in 23 of Ole Miss' 27 games. She also has 11 double-doubles on the season which leads the SEC. Faleru, who is in the only player in the SEC averaging a double-double, is the lone player in double figures, but Erika Sisk is nearing double figures with 8.8 points per game, while Ole Miss has six players averaging 6.0 points or better. Danielle McCray and A'Queen Hayes are helping Faleru shoulder the rebounding load averaging 5.1 and 4.3 rebounds per game, respectively. In SEC action, Faleru leads the way averaging 13.4 points, while Erika Sisk is averaging 8.6 points. A'Queen Hayes is also netting 7.7 points per game against SEC foes. As a team, Ole Miss is averaging 65.6 points per game while holding opponents to 62.9 points per game.

Ole Miss will close out the regular season with a trip to Starkville to take on Mississippi State on Sunday. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Net andwill tipoff at 1 p.m. CT.
