Postgame Quotes - LSU

HEAD COACH Matt Insell
On tonight's win...
"At this point in the year, it doesn't matter how you win it. You just have to win it. We came out here tonight and played with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. We had a great crowd on a snowy night, here in Oxford. Our fans continue to grow and support this basketball team. What a huge, huge win. We have said it since day one. We knew what we had in our team. We saw them in the practice facility every day, working. It showed tonight as we continue to win. We are 17-11, and 7-8 in the SEC. I think we have a case to get into the NCAA tournament, no matter what happens the rest of the way. It is up to the committee to decide. We will know that later. This is an NCAA tournament team."
On LSU making a comeback...
"We just played Ole Miss basketball. We just got after it. Raigyne Moncrief and Danielle Ballard are two of the best guards in the country. That is why LSU is so good. They are hard to guard. They are athletic. It is really hard to keep them in front of you. They do this every night in this league. I knew once those guards got going it would be a battle. Erika Sisk was 10-for-10 at the free throw line. That is huge for us. This team a week ago was shooting for 30 percent from the free throw line. Tia Faleru stepped up for us, she made two free throws at the in. Shandricka Sessom made one of the biggest shots of the game from the elbow. Gracie Frizzell was huge, too. Everybody played so hard. Amber Singletary did such a great job, too. This is a great win for us."
