OXFORD, Miss. -- Football isn't the only team with a spring game at home. The Ole Miss volleyball team will host regional foe Memphis Wednesday at 6 p.m., at the Gillom Sports Center.

The match is open to the public and admission is free.

After two weeks of practice, the Rebels traveled to Chattanooga, Tennessee last weekend for their first competition of the spring. The Rebels beat Belmont in two sets on Saturday and then split with Georgia Tech. Against Belmont, All-American Nakeyta Clair hit .460 with seven kills, while Melanie Crow added nine kills.

"With our squad size only being eight this spring, we need to use all of our spring scrimmages to improve our 6v6 play," head coach Steven McRoberts said. "We saw some weaknesses last weekend in Chattanooga that needed to be addressed, and we've had a good week of practice working on those skills."

The Rebels will welcome six new players this fall, as part of Coach McRoberts first recruiting class announced last November.ร‚ย ร‚ย ร‚ย
