• The series sweep of Arkansas was the first road sweep in a three-game series for Ole Miss since 2005.
• The three-game sweep of an SEC team was the first for Ole Miss since a sweep of South Carolina in 2012.
• Ole Miss posted back-to-back series wins in SEC play for the first time since 2008 with the wins over MSU and Ark.
• The MSU wins marked the first series win over a nationally-ranked team since 2009 and MSU since the 2010 season.

• The Rebels have 48 home runs this season, passing the total of 30 a year ago and setting a new school record.

REBELS RETURN TO SEC TOURNAMENT
When Ole Miss takes the field against the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday afternoon, it will be only the fourth time in
the history of the program that the Rebels have appeared in the SEC Tournament. It also marks the first appearance
in the annual event since the 2008 season when the Rebels made a run of three-straight appearances.
• Ole Miss made its first appearance in the SEC Tournament in 2006, falling to Alabama in the first round.
• The Rebels returned to the SEC Tournament for a second time in 2007, falling to No. 1 Tennessee.
• A third straight trip came to fruition in the 2008 season with the Rebels falling to No. 1 Florida in the opener.

BROWN CLOSING OUT CAREER AMONG SCHOOL LEADERS
As the clock winds down on the Ole Miss career of senior 3B Allison Brown, it's not without her impact being left as
a legacy for the program moving forward. The California native ranks in the top five of seven offensive categories
with the chance to take over the top spot in a handful of those before her career comes to a close. She also is in
position to finish her career in the top five of three "fluid" categories of batting average, slugging percentage and
on base percentage. For more detailed information see page 28.
• Brown has started ever game of her career for 214 consecutive starts. She moved into a tie for fifth in games
started last weekend with three starts against Texas A&M to tie All-America Lauren Grill with 214 starts.
• She ranks first in doubles with 42 for her career and will set a new mark for doubles at Ole Miss with her next.
• Brown ranks second in hits with 196 to date and trails Grill who is the career leader with 223 hits.
• She also ranks second in RBI with 140 and needs four to pass current leader, Grill, who posted 143 RBI.
• Brown is tied for fourth in triples with five for her career and can tie Britte Hardy for third with her next triple.
• She is third in total bases with 317 for her career and trails second place DeDe Justice who posted 370.
• Brown is fifth in runs scored with 113 and needs three to pass Brittany Broome for fourth. Grill is also the career
leader in runs scored with 135 for her career.
• She also ranks fifth in walks with 75 and trails fourth-place London Ladner who posted 95 walks in a career.

COX IN REACH OF SINGLE-SEASON STEAL RECORD AS FRESHMAN
Freshman OF Elantra Cox has used her speed on the basepath to rocket up the single-season record list for steals
in her first year with the Rebels. The Henderson, Tennessee, native has seven games with at least two steals this
season and currently ranks second in steals in a season with 30. Cox needs four steals to pass current singleseason
leader Brittany Broome, who stole 33 bases in the 2013 season. Cox's 30 steals puts her at fourth in the
SEC in steals entering the tournament.

REBELS ENTERING RARE WIN TERRITORY
When the Rebels defeated Mississippi Valley State on Wednesday, Ole Miss picked up its 30th win of the season.
It marks only the second time in school history the Rebels have hit the 30-win mark and is tied for the most wins
in program history.
• Ole Miss hit the mark of 26 wins set in the 2008 and 1998 seasons for third most in history vs. Louisville.
• The Rebels hit the 29-win mark with a victory over South Carolina last weekend to tie the 2006 and 2010 mark.
• Ole Miss posted its first winning season in 2005, hitting the 30-win mark for the first time as a program.

SCORING FIRST A PREDICTOR OF REBEL SUCCESS
When the Rebels score first this season it's been a predictor of success as Ole Miss has posted a 26-6 mark
when crossing the plate before its opponents. The Rebels have scored in the first inning 19 times and posted a
15-4 mark in those games.

Ole Miss is outscoring its opponents 169-106 through the first three innings this season with a total of 59 runs
scored in the third inning for the largest scoring margin. Ole Miss outscores its foes 60-34 in the third inning
this season.

REBELS SETTING MARKS OFFENSIVELY
In the first season of competition under head coach Mike Smith the Rebels are already turning in some of the best
offensive marks in program history. The marked improvement has already translated into success for the Rebels and
several other marks are in striking distance as the season winds down and Ole Miss has tied the school win mark.
• Through 54 games, the Rebels have stolen 88 bases successfully after only attempting 60 steals in 2014. The
88 steals is the most in a single season in program history.
• Ole Miss has hit 48 home runs this season, also setting a new mark for home runs in program history.
• The Rebels have also hit a school record 13 triples this season, besting the previous mark of 11 triples.
• New school marks for runs scored and RBI were set in wins over Alcorn State - now at 303 runs and 272 RBI.
• The Rebels have set the mark for walks in a season with 165 and hits with 442 entering the tournament.
• One more double will set the new mark for doubles in a season to complete rewrite the record books.

COX, SCHNEIDER, STROTHER SET TONE FOR REBEL OFFENSE
A trio of young players set the tone for the Rebel offense at the top of the order with freshman OF Elantra Cox
setting the table in the leadoff spot and sophomore OF Miranda Strother driving in runs in the three-spot of the
offensive lineup. Schneider rounds things out in the cleanup spot.
• Cox sets the table and puts pressure on the basepath for the Rebels, ranking among team leaders in batting
average (.383) and ranking fourth in the SEC in steals (30-of-41) to lead the Rebels. She has scored 34
runs - third on the team in runs scored this season.
• Strother is second on the team in batting average, hitting at a .378 clip. She is tops on the team in RBI
with 37 and second in runs scored with 36.
• Schneider leads the team with nine home runs, has scored 38 runs to lead the team this season and
has drawn a team-high 23 walks through 54 games this season.

MULTIPLE-HIT, MULTIPLE-RBI GAMES
Several Rebels have multiple-hit games this season, but the duo of Miranda Strother and Elantra Cox pace the
squad with each turning in double digit multiple-hit performances this season. Cox leads the way with 18 multiplehit
games, while Miranda Strother has tallied 16 multiple-hit games. Allison Brown has added 10. All told, 16
different Rebels have tallied multiple-hit games on the season.

Those multiple-hit games have sometimes translated into multiple-RBI games, but there hasn't always been a
correlation. Strother leads the squad in multiple-RBI games with 12, while junior OF/DP Bri Payne and senior 3B
Allison Brown have eight. Junior DP Natalie Martinez have six games of multiple-RBI. In all, 14 Rebels have tallied
multiple-RBI games on the season.
