2015 ScheduleOXFORD, Miss.  -- Two home tournaments and eight matches against NCAA Tournament teams from last season highlight the 2015 Ole Miss volleyball schedule announced Friday by head coach Steven McRoberts.

Fans will get an opportunity to see the Rebels right out of the gate, with nine of the first 12 matches at home in the friendly confines of the Gillom Sports Center, where Ole Miss posted a 12-4 record last season.

The Rebels kick off the 2015 campaign hosting the Magnolia Invitational Aug. 28-29. The tournament includes Northwestern State, who made the NCAA Tournament last year, as well as Oral Roberts and Tennessee State.

Staying at home, the Rebels will welcome McNeese State and UT-Martin on Sept. 1, before hitting the road for NC State's tournament, which also includes NCAA tournament team Jacksonville University and Delaware.

Ole Miss fans coming to the Fresno State football game the second weekend of September should mark their calendars to include volleyball, as the Rebels return home to host the Rebel Classic Sept. 10-12. The tournament includes Belmont, Buffalo and Southern Miss.

The Rebels' third non-conference opponent to make the NCAA Tournament in 2014, Lipscomb, comes to town Sept. 16.

In 2014, the Rebels started the season a program-best 14-0, sweeping all four regular season tournaments.  The Rebels will not have to travel far for their final non-conference tournament of the 2015 season, heading east to Birmingham for UAB's tournament Sept. 18-19.

Ole Miss will kick off Southeastern Conference play Sept. 25 at defending SEC Champion Florida, before returning home to host Mississippi State Sept. 27, the day after the Vanderbilt football game.  Remaining home SEC matches include South Carolina (Oct. 2), Georgia (Oct. 9), Tennessee (Oct. 23), Kentucky (Oct. 25), Texas A&M (Nov. 13), LSU (Nov. 15) and Missouri (Nov. 22).

In addition to their SEC opener at Florida, the Rebels will play road matches at Texas A&M (Oct. 4), Missouri (Oct. 16), Arkansas (Oct. 18), Georgia (Oct. 28), South Carolina (Nov. 1), Auburn (Nov. 20), Alabama (Nov. 25) and Mississippi State (Nov. 27).

The Rebels posted their best record (22-10) in seven years in 2014 and return six of seven starters from last year.  Nakeyta Clair became the first All-American since 2011 and set the school record for kills in a season with 366. Aubrey Edie set the single season record for assists with 1,322, and Melanie Crow set the single season record for aces with 42. Lexi Thompson had the most kills (323) in a season by a freshman.

In addition, the Rebels will welcome seven new players to the team for the fall.
