Competition High in Volleyball Practice

OXFORD, Miss. â€" With 10 days until the first official match of the 2015 season, the Ole Miss volleyball team continues fall camp with high-level practices going on at the Gillom Sports Center.
Depth at several positions has created competitive 6 on 6 scrimmages during practice as the coaches try to identify a winning formula for the starting lineup.
Meet the Rebels a Success…
A record crowd turned out last Saturday for the annual Meet the Rebels Day which included football, soccer, volleyball and rifle. The Rebels signed autographs, posed for photos and mingled with fans of all ages.
Production Day…
Not only are the Rebels busy practicing for the upcoming season, there is plenty to do off the courts to prepare for the season. Players participated in production day Sunday evening, shooting video content which will be used throughout the season on various platforms.
Strike!...
Fall camp is not all about practice for the Rebels. After their second practice Tuesday, the Rebels schedule included a team dinner on the square followed by bowling.
Groovin' at Move-In…
The Rebels are big on community service and Thursday morning they will participate in Groovin' at Move-In, which is a program designed to assist new students as they move into the dorms.
Red/Blue Match…
Fans can get their first look at the 2015 team Aug. 24 at 7 p.m., as the Rebels host their Red/Blue match. Admission is free.
