NFL REBELS: Weekly Update 09.15

Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the exploits of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a big presence in the NFL again this year with 18 former Rebels currently on NFL rosters, including stars like two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning and other Super Bowl Rebels Michael Oher of the Carolina Panthers and Brandon Bolden of the New England Patriots.
Six former Rebels earned starting rolls for their respective teams while many others saw the field in week one. Familiar faces like Trumaine McBride, Michael Oher and Dexter McCluster all made their returns from injury a season ago.
Here's a rundown of how each former Rebel performed in week one of the 2015 NFL season:
#38 Brandon Bolden | RB | New England Patriots
Saw five carries in the Patriots win over Pittsburgh.
#69 Pierce Burton | OT | Atlanta Falcons
Member of the Falcons' practice squad.
#27 Senquez Golson | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
Placed on season-ending injured reserve.
#76 Greg Hardy | DE | Dallas Cowboys
Placed on the commissioner's exempt list.
#77 John Jerry | OG | New York Giants
Saw action in the Giants' 27-26 loss in Dallas.
#21 Kendrick Lewis | FS | Houston Texans
Started at FS and recorded one tackle as the Ravens fell 19-13 to the Denver Broncos.
#10 Eli Manning | QB | New York Giants
Went 20-for-36 for 193 yards and had one carry for 8 yards in the Giants' week one loss to Dallas.
#70 Bobby Massie | OT | Arizona Cardinals
Placed on the commissioner's exempt list.
#38 Trumaine McBride | CB | New York Giants
Made his return from injury recording four tackles, a forced fumble and an interception that he returned for a touchdown in the Giants' week one loss to Dallas. VIDEO: Pick-six for McBride
#22 Dexter McCluster | RB/PR | Tennessee Titans
Logged a couple of carries for 8 yards in the Titans' 42-14 win over the 'Bucs.
#10 Donte Moncrief | WR | Indianapolis Colts
Started at WR grabbing six catches for 46 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 27-14 loss at Buffalo.
#72 Michael Oher | OT | Carolina Panthers
Started at tackle in his Carolina Panthers debut picking up the 20-9 win in Jacksonville.
#78 Jermey Parnell | OT | Jacksonville Jaquars
Started at tackle in his Jaguars debut in a 20-7 loss to Carolina.
#48 Gerald Rivers | OLB | New York Giants
Member of the Giants' practice squad.
#38 Jamarca Sanford | SS | New Orleans Saints
Saw action in the Saints' week one loss at Arizona.
#79 Bradley Sowell | OT | Arizona Cardinals
Saw action in the Cardinals' week one win over New Orleans.
#44 Carlos Thompson | OLB | Houston Texans
Didn't see action in the Texans' loss against Kansas City.
#11 Mike Wallace | WR | Minnesota Vikings
Started at WR and hauled in six catches for 63 yards on Monday Night Football.
