OXFORD, Miss. - With four non-conference matches remaining on the schedule, the Ole Miss volleyball team looks to keep its six-match win streak intact when they host Lipscomb Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., at the Gillom Sports Center.

Promotions
Wednesday is Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night and the first 250 fans will receive a mini volleyball.

Another Tournament Title for the Rebels
Paced by tournament MVP Aubrey Edie and all-tournament team members Nakeyta Clair and Lexi Thompson, Ole Miss defeated Belmont, Buffalo and Southern Miss to capture the Rebel Classic at the Gillom Sports Center this past weekend. With the wins, the Rebels improved to 10-1 on the season.

Scouting Lipscomb
Lipscomb comes into Wednesday's match at 5-4 on the season. They won five straight to start the season, but have since lost four in a row, including all three matches at the Bluejay Invitational last weekend. The Lady Bisons returned six starters from last year's NCAA Tournament team, including AVCA All-South Region Honorable Mention Brittnay Estes and A-Sun All-Conference selections Molly Spitznagle and Kayla Ostrom. Middle blocker Jewell Dobson leads the team with 3.24 kills and 0.82 blocks per set.

Rebels vs. Lipscomb
This will be the second meeting between Lipscomb and Ole Miss. The Rebels won the first meeting (3-1), also in Oxford, back in the 2005 Magnolia Invitational.

Coming Up
Ole Miss concludes the non-conference part of the schedule this weekend with the Fight Like Hal Memorial Tournament hosted by UAB in Birmingham, Alabama. The Rebels will face Jacksonville State at Noon on Friday followed by UAB at 6 p.m. Saturday, the Rebels close out tournament action against Mississippi Valley State at 2 p.m.

Quoting Head Coach Steven McRoberts
"Lipscomb is going to be the best non-conference team that will come into our gym. They made the NCAA tournament last year; they received an at-large bid. They have some good wins this year and have a top-50 RPI type program. Then we are going to UAB. We've got UAB, Jacksonville State and Mississippi Valley State. Hopefully we play well there."
