NFL REBELS: Weekly Update 09.22

Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the exploits of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a big presence in the NFL again this year with 17 former Rebels currently on NFL rosters, including stars like two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning and other Super Bowl Rebels Michael Oher of the Carolina Panthers and Brandon Bolden of the New England Patriots.
Five former Rebels earned starting roles for their respective teams while many others saw the field in week two of the NFL season. Texans linebacker Carlos Thompson made his NFL debut Sunday while second-year Colts WR Donte Moncrief added another big play to his highlight reel on Monday Night Football.
Here's a rundown of how each former Rebel performed in week two of the 2015 NFL season:
#38 Brandon Bolden | RB | New England Patriots
Hauled in one pass and had one carry for a combined 2 yards in the week two win over Buffalo.
Pierce Burton | OT | Carolina Panthers
Member of the Panthers' practice squad.
#27 Senquez Golson | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
Placed on season-ending injured reserve.
#76 Greg Hardy | DE | Dallas Cowboys
Placed on the commissioner's exempt list.
#77 John Jerry | OG | New York Giants
Appeared in the week two 24-20 loss to Atlanta.
#21 Kendrick Lewis | FS | Baltimore Ravens
Earned another start at FS for the Ravens, logging three tackles in a close loss to Oakland.
#10 Eli Manning | QB | New York Giants
Started at QB for the Giants, completing 27 of 40 passes for 292 yards and 2 TDs and rushed twice for 23 yards. Earned a 105.4 passer rating in the close loss to the Falcons.
#70 Bobby Massie | OT | Arizona Cardinals
Placed on the commissioner's exempt list.
#38 Trumaine McBride | CB | New York Giants
Appeared in the week two loss to Atlanta logging one tackle.
#22 Dexter McCluster | RB/PR | Tennessee Titans
Earned playing time at RB for Tennessee, carrying the ball 10 times for 98 yards. Averaged 9.8 yards a carry in the 28-14 loss to the Browns.
#10 Donte Moncrief | WR | Indianapolis Colts
Appeared at WR for the Colts, hauling in seven passes for 122 yards and a TD in the Monday Night Football loss to the Jets. VIDEO: Moncrief catches a touchdown on MNF
#73 Michael Oher | OT | Carolina Panthers
Started at LT for the Carolina Panthers in the week two win over Houston.
#78 Jermey Parnell | OT | Jacksonville Jaguars
Started at tackle for the Jaguars in the 23-20 win over Miami.
#33 Jamarca Sanford | SS | New Orleans Saints
Saw action in the Saints' week two loss to Tampa Bay.
#79 Bradley Sowell | OT | Arizona Cardinals
Saw action on the offensive line in the Cardinals' week two win over Chicago.
#44 Carlos Thompson | OLB | Houston Texans
Made his NFL debut for the Texans in week two, recording one tackle in a loss at Carolina.
#11 Mike Wallace | WR | Minnesota Vikings
Started at WR for the Vikings, bringing in three passes for 38 yards.
