No. 16 Rifle to Compete in Withrow Invitational

OXFORD, Miss. â€" The No. 16 Ole Miss rifle team heads to Murray, Ky., to take part in the eight-team Withrow Invitational hosted by No. 2 Murray State at the Pat Spurgin Rifle Range. The Rebels will shoot Sunday.
The Competition…
The Withrow Invitational features a top-notch field, including No. 3 Kentucky, No. 4 TCU, No. 8 Nebraska, No. 9 Memphis, No. 12 Jacksonville State and No. 20 UT Martin.
Murray State Rewind…
In their first action since the holiday break, Ole Miss shot a 4593 last weekend at home in a tri-match against Murray State and Nebraska. Junior Alison Weisz led the Rebels with an aggregate score of 1160, including a 591 in air rifle. It marked her fourth score in the 590s this year.

"Our scores in smallbore have not been what we want or need, so we have been training on smallbore nonstop this week. I am excited to see the progress on Sunday."
