Shelby Gibson was also in double figures with 10 points as the Rebels held their opponent to under 50 points for the second straight game.

2. After scoring just 10 points - all of which came in the second half - in the season opener against Southeastern Louisiana, Shandricka Sessom was 11-of-19 from the floor for 26 points against Lipscomb. It was her ninth career 20-point outing and was two shy of her career best of 28 points set last season.

3. True freshman Shelby Gibson posted her second straight game in double figures with 10 points vs. Lipscomb. Gibson becomes the first player since Armintie Price in 2003-04 to open their collegiate career with back-to-back games in double figures.

4.Ole Miss and Jacksonville State are meeting for the third time on Thursday with the Rebels leading the series, 2-0. The Gamecocks and Rebels last met in 2013-14 with Ole Miss winning 83-62 to give head coach Matt Insell his first career win.

5. With 14 points against Lipscomb, Erika Sisk is 43 points away from 1,000 career points. She will become the second player to achieve the milestone under head coach Matt Insell and staff and will become the 27th player in program history to top 1,000 career points.

A Win Would
-Give Ole Miss its third straight win, which would equal the best start for the Rebels in the Matt Insell era. The Rebels won their first three games in 2014-15 before a loss to Middle Tennessee. In 2014-15, Ole Miss went 6-1 to open the season and advanced to the third round of the WNIT.

-Move Ole Miss three wins away from its 800th program victory. The earliest Ole Miss could get all-time win No. 800 would be the second game of the UNLV Lady Rebel Round Up over Thanksgiving.

Rebels By The Numbers
4-
Number of wins Ole Miss needs to reach 800 program victories. Currently Ole Miss' all-time record is 976-493. Ole Miss' first chance to reach 800 wins will be in the second game of the UNLV Thanksgiving tournament on Nov. 27.

7-Number of wins head coach Matt Insell needs to earn his 50th career win. Insell is 43-54 in three years as head coach of the Ole Miss women's basketball team.

14-Number of points freshman Shelby Gibson had in her collegiate debut. It's the most points for an Ole Miss player in their debut since current Coordinator of Player Engagement Armintie (Price) Herrington had 14 in her collegiate debut. Gibson followed up her 14-point performance with 10 points against Lipscomb to make her the first rookie to score double-figures in their first collegiate games since Price Herrington.

43- Number of points Erika Sisk needs to hit the 1,000-point milestone. The Oxford native has scored over 300 points in each of her two collegiate seasons and seems poised to become Ole Miss' 27th 1,000- point scorer in school history.

80-Number of points Ole Miss first two opponents have scored combined. Ole Miss' opponents are averaging 40.0 points per game, which currently leads the SEC in scoring defense.
