Edie Named to SEC Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Ole Miss senior Aubrey Edie is more than just a record-setting setter for the volleyball team. She was named to the 14th annual Southeastern Conference Community Service Team, the league office announced Wednesday.

The Fayetteville, Arkansas native earned the honor for the second consecutive year. During her career, Edie has participated in a number of events in the community.

Edie has helped with More than a Meal, Groovin' at Move-in, Reading with the Rebels, Tornado Disaster Relief for Columbia, Mississippi, the Batesville Elementary School Supply Drive, South Carolina Flood Relief Drive, Trunk or Treat and National Girls in Sports Day. She is also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Edie recently concluded her outstanding career as the school's all-time record holder in assists with 4,834. She is a CoSIDA Academic All-American and was recently named CoSIDA Academic All-District for the third year in a row.
