National Rankings…
In the latest individual Oracle/ITA Rankings, sophomore Arianne Hartono is up seven spots to No. 22 in singles. Hartono is 20-9 overall, 13-3 at No. 1 Singles and 6-3 in the SEC. She and senior Mai El Kamash are No. 26 in doubles.
Quoting Head Coach Mark Beyers…
"The team knows that our backs are against the wall, and we need to come up with some wins. Arkansas has a great team. We've seen throughout the SEC this season how close everything is from 1-14. Alabama came within a couple of points of beating South Carolina. Anybody can beat anybody in this conference. We've been very close a few times and haven't been able to come up with four points. We need to do a better job of closing out some of these matches. Hopefully we can do that this weekend."
