Rebels to Host Spring Match

OXFORD, Miss. - With spring in full swing the Ole Miss volleyball team hosts Missouri State Saturday at Noon in a spring match. It will mark the final competition for the Rebels at the Gillom Sports Center until 2017.
The Rebels will play the 2016 season in The Pavilion, as the Gillom Sports Center undergoes a renovation beginning at the end of May.
Saturday's match is open to the public and admission is free.
The Rebels have been practicing for about a month and began their spring competition in Chattanooga, Tennessee on April 2 with matches against Chattanooga, Tennessee Tech and West Florida. Last weekend they went to head coach Steven McRoberts old stomping grounds, Central Arkansas. McRoberts spent six years as the head coach leading UCA to back-to-back Southland Conference regular season titles in 2009 and 2010.
Ole Miss will welcome six new players to the program in July to join 11 returning members from last year's team, who posted consecutive 20-win seasons for the first time in three decades and a school-record 13 home wins.
