Gardner Finishes Sixth in Smallbore at Junior Olympics

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Ole Miss freshman Harley Gardner (Bellville, Texas) finished sixth in smallbore at the USA Shooting Junior Olympics Championships Sunday.
Gardner shot a 587 on day one and followed with a 578 on day two to finish fifth and qualify for the finals. In the final, Gardner posted a 397.4 good for seventh. Her overall total of 1160 put her in sixth in the final standings.
Gardner will compete in air rifle Monday and Tuesday along with teammates Jessica Haig, Allison Villa, Marina Noble, Kristyn Trump, Randi Loudin and Samantha Sandifer.
