What do you love most about competing as an Ole Miss Rebel?
The recognition from the rest of the world that I am not just an amateur athlete. I love the confidence that I get when I really think about the fact that I have enough self-drive and experience to be here.

What do you love most about Rebel Nation?
The saturation and intensity of emotions that we, as athletes, feel for each other. I think we can all relate to each other in a unique way from the rest of the student body.

What defines a Rebel?
Positivity in the face of adversity and the enormous amount of self-discipline it takes to achieve their goals.

Who or what motivates you in your sport?
Anyone who has supported me in any way. Any teacher who has looked at me and asked me how my shooting is going, a stranger who has told me to shoot straight, or a young girl who has looked at me wide-eyed and said she wants to be like me and shoot. These people help me believe in and motivate myself, and I don't think that I could ever have gotten here without them.

What are your goals for the season?
Over the summer, I was able to bring myself to a really positive mental place. I want to utilize this to make developments in my scores, and I would love to make it to more of the outside competitions at the Olympic Training Center.

If you could challenge another Ole Miss sport in rifle who would it be?
Golf-- I think our mental training and muscle memory training are very similar in principle.

What would you do if you won the lottery?
Plan a two week vacation to Disneyworld and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter with my family.

What is your favorite movie?
Nightmare Before Christmas

Who would play you in a movie of your life?
Gwendoline Christie

What's your Netflix go-to?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Where is your favorite place to vacation to?
Ketchikan, AK. My Dutch grandparents live there, and my native culture stems from that area. It's where I feel most in tune with the natural world as well as my family history and culture.

What is your favorite quote?
"Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever." --Walt Disney

If you could donate to one charity which would it be? Why?
The Living Desert Botanical Garden and Zoo. I visited a few times and they really made me appreciate desert wildlife and I became far more aware of animal treatment in local zoos and aquariums. I think it's one of the first times I really started appreciating the study of Biology.
