Rebels Advance at ITA Southern Regionals

AUBURN, Ala. - It was a solid first day for the Ole Miss women's tennis team at the ITA Southern Regional Championships, as three players advanced to the round of 16 in singles and three doubles teams reached the round of 16 at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
Day one…
Top-seeded Arianne Hartono, seventh- seeded Sabina Machalova and Tea Jandric all picked up two straight-set wins to advance. In doubles, Hartono teamed up with Alexa Bortles as the top seed and the pair advanced to the second round with a convincing win. Machalova and senior Natalie Suk, seeded 5-8, won in a tiebreaker as did Allie Sanford and Cameron Kriscunas.
