OXFORD, Miss. â€" Ole Miss women's tennis inked Dutch Junior National Champion Isolde de Jong, head coach Mark Beyers announced Monday. She will join the program beginning in the fall of 2018.

A native of Rotterdam, Netherlands, de Jong is the seventh player from the Netherlands to join the program under Coach Beyers.

"Today is a great day for Ole Miss tennis," Beyers said. "Having Isolde join the Rebel family is very exciting. Isolde is a very experienced player who has won a lot at the junior level. I expect her to make an immediate impact on this team as well as in college tennis."

De Jong owns a career-high ITF junior ranking of 126. She has won three ITF Grade 2 doubles titles, two ITF Grade 3 doubles titles, one ITF Grade 4 and one ITF Grade 3 singles title. In 2015, she won the ITF Grade 3 singles and doubles titles in Pontevedra, Spain.

In addition, De Jong is a three-time Dutch National Indoor Champion and three-time Outdoor National Champion, including this year.

The Rebels recently wrapped up fall competition and will return to the courts Jan. 13-15 at the FGCU Invitational.
