OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss volleyball junior Caroline Adams not only succeeds on the court and in the classroom, but she finds time to volunteer in the community. For her efforts, the Lafayette, Louisiana native was recently named to the 2017 SEC Community Service Team.

Adams has helped out with the Dr. Seuss's Read Across America Week and the National Girls and Women in Sports Week event. She also volunteered with More Than a Meal and the Thanksgiving Adopt-A-Basket collection and community drop-off.

A two-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll, Adams has been a member of the Chancellor's Honor Roll every semester.

Adams and her teammates downed SEC foe Georgia 3-0 Sunday to advance to the National Invitational Volleyball Championship semifinals. They will face the winner of the Syracuse/West Virginia match later this week. Stay tuned to the Rebels' social media accounts for updates on location and time.

With 494 digs, Adams needs just 20 digs to set the single-season record.
