Men's Tennis to Host Auburn

OXFORD, Miss. -- It's officially spring, and the weather looks great for Thursday as the Ole Miss men's tennis team welcomes Auburn to the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center to conclude a three-match homestand.
Fans will earn double Rebel Rewards points Thursday.
Last time out...
The Rebels are looking to get back on track after dropping four straight including a tough 4-3 loss to South Carolina last Saturday. Gustav Hansson, Tim Sandkaulen and Fabian Fallert all won their singles matches, but the Rebels dropped a tight doubles point that proved to be the difference in the match.
What to watch for...
The No. 1 doubles match will feature two teams in the top 20 in the latest rankings. Ole Miss' Fabian Fallert and Grey Hamilton are ranked No. 13, while Auburn's top duo is ranked No. 18. Ricardo Jorge and Zvonimir Babic have won five in a row and are undefeated in dual matches at 5-0, 3-0 in the SEC.
Scouting Auburn...
Auburn (11-7, 2-2) went 2-1 on its spring break road swing, posting wins at No. 34 Vanderbilt and at Belmont Saturday. The road trip started last Thursday in Lexington, where No. 17 Kentucky was a 6-1 winner. The Tigers are led by 67th-ranked Max Hinnisdaels, who owns a 7-6 record at No. 1 singles. He is also ranked No. 18 in doubles with Conner Huertas.
Rebels and Tigers...
Ole Miss leads the all-time series with Auburn 31-28, but the Tigers won last year's meeting, 4-3 in Auburn. Two years ago, the Rebels won 4-1 in Oxford.
Rebels in the rankings...
In the latest ITA rankings junior Gustav Hansson is ranked No. 38 in singles. Sophomore Fabian Fallert and junior Grey Hamilton moved back inside the top 15 at No. 13 in doubles after a win over the No. 4 ranked team last Thursday.
