Volleyball to Hold Red/Blue Scrimmage Thursday

OXFORD, Miss. - Classes start next Monday, which means the Ole Miss volleyball season is one day closer. Fans are invited to come check out the team at their annual Red/Blue Scrimmage Thursday at 6 p.m., at the newly-renovated Gillom Sports Center.

Seniors Kate Gibson and Lexi Thompson return for their final campaign with the Rebels after helping lead the team to its third straight winning season in 2016. Fans will also get a chance to see the five newcomers in action.
Ole Miss officially kicks off its fourth season under head coach Steven McRoberts with the Rebel Invitational Aug. 25-27. The Rebels will face Louisiana Tech Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. followed by North Dakota at 6 p.m. The tournament continues with the Rebels facing Chattanooga Aug. 26 at 1 p.m. and concludes with a match against Florida A&M Aug. 27 at 1 p.m.
The Clear Bag Policy is a policy being implemented by the SEC across all schools in the conference. It will be implemented at all venues this year, across all Ole Miss Sports. Fans are encouraged to download the free Rebel Rewards app on their phones and start earning points for prizes. The first prize is an Ole Miss Clear Bag.
