Volleyball to Appear on TV Five Times in 2017

OXFORD, Miss. -- With Ole Miss Volleyball reporting Tuesday for the start of fall camp, the Southeastern Conference announced the television schedule for the 2017 season Wednesday. The Rebels will be featured at least five times, including three on the SEC Network and twice on ESPNU.
Ole Miss, who recorded their third straight winning season for the first time in three decades, was featured on TV six times in 2016.

All matches not on ESPNU or the SEC Network will be available on SEC Network + via WatchESPN and SECNetwork.com. Seth Austin and Brittney McLaughlin will be on the call for all home matches on SEC Network +.
There are two wildcard TV games for Nov. 19 that will be announced later in the season.
This season's, volleyball coverage will feature new technology courtesy of VERT Technology, allowing fans to see more detailed replays, including a display and information on how high an athlete jumps.
The Rebels are excited to return to the newly-renovated Gillom Sports Center after playing the 2016 season at The Pavilion.
Fourth-year head coach Steven McRoberts welcomes back three starters plus the libero from last year's team. Senior outside hitters Lexi Thompson and Kate Gibson are on the cusp of becoming Ole Miss' first members of the 1,000/1,000 club in the rally scoring era.
Five new players dot the roster this fall including transfers Delaney Gallagher (MTSU) and Caitlin Wernentin (UNLV), setter Lauren Bars (Nashville, Tennessee), middle blocker Bayleigh Scott and defensive specialist Barrett Guttell.
Ole Miss produced approximately 100 SEC Network + events last year that were streamed on SECNetwork.com and the ESPN app. As a conference, SEC schools broadcast more than 1,000 SEC Network + events annually.
