Ole Miss Athletics Announces Sixth Community Connection Week

Community Connection Week Will Begin Monday at 5 p.m.
OXFORD, Miss. โ The Ole Miss Athletic Department, in partnership with the University of Mississippi and the L-O-U community, have announced several community events set to take place next week (Oct. 15-20) for the sixth Community Connection Week.

Community Connection Week is designed to serve as a connecting point for the campus community, as well as the greater Oxford-Lafayette community, and was born out of the idea that we all need to connect and celebrate the community that we are fortunate to call home.

Monday, October 15, 2018 - Patterson's Footlocker
Southeast Corner of Vaught Hemingway - Visitor Bus Parking Area
5:00-6:30 PM
Ole Miss Football senior Javon Patterson will be collecting new socks to donate to homeless shelters in Mississippi. Join Javon and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as they try to reach their goal of collecting 7,900 socks.
