Scouting Auburn
The Tigers enter the week with an 8-11 record, their lone win in the SEC coming against the Rebels back in late September. The squad most recently dropped a four-setter in Columbia to Missouri, but had suffered three straight sweeps prior to that. Senior Brenna McIllroy leads the squad with 200 kills and was one of three double-digit kill performers in Oxford last month. The Tigers hit at .293 clip, one of their highest in league play this season.
Scouting Alabama
After starting the season 11-0, the Tide continues to car- ry a strong ledger, boasting a 17-6 overall record with a 4-3 league mark. The squad is led by junior outside Ginger Perinar with 259 kills and two-time SEC Defensive Player of the Week Cidavia Hall defensively, who posts 85 rejections. Alabama leads the league with 15.65 digs per set, with senior libero Quincey Gary's 348 ranking second among the league's defensive specialists.
