Volleyball's Caroline Adams Named Google Cloud Academic All-District

OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss Volleyball senior Caroline Adams continues to add to her resume during her final campaign, being named to the CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-District 6 squad, as announced by the organization Thursday afternoon.ย
The 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-Districtยฎ ย Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The Google Cloud Academic All-Americaยฎ program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions โ NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
As a first team honoree, Adamsย advances to the Google Cloud Academic All-Americaยฎ ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if necessary) Academic All-Americaยฎ honorees will be announced in early December.ย
A communication sciences major, Adams ranks second all-time in program history with 1,421 digs and set the single-season record with 522 a year ago. The Lafayette, Louisiana native has also been an SEC Community Service Team selection and volunteers in several community activities. Adams ranks in the Top 10 in the league in digs and averages nearly four digs a set.ย
