OXFORD, Miss. -- In a continuing effort to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes beyond the field of competition, the SEC once again highlighted a Community Service Team for women's tennis for the 2017-18 season. Ole Miss sophomore Tereza Janatova is one of 14 selected to the team.

All league-sponsored sports have had a Community Service Team since 2004, with at-large teams for men and women's sports being chosen from 1999-2003.

Janatova (Nova Paka, Czech Republic) is a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as well part of the Rebels' International Executive Board. She helped with Hope to Dream, a partnership with Ashley Home Furniture Store, which provides beds to children and families who might not otherwise be able to afford one.

Earlier this season Janatova notched her first clinch of her career against TCU to help the Rebels advance to the ITA National Team indoor. She also clinched the Rebels' first win against Texas A&M since they joined the league. Janatova is 7-2 overall and 5-1 in dual matches.

The Rebels will head to Knoxville, Tennessee this week for the SEC Tournament, where they will face the winner of Alabama/Tennessee Thursday at 5 p.m. CT.
