Hartono Named to SEC All-Tournament Team

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Ole Miss women's tennis senior Arianne Hartono was named to the SEC Women's Tennis All-Tournament Team it was announce at the conclusion of the championship match Sunday.

Hartono, ranked No. 13, won both of her completed singles matches, defeating back-to-back top 10 opponents in straight sets.

Against Tennessee, Hartono teamed with Alexa Bortles to clinch the doubles point and then was leading in the third set of her singles match when the Rebels clinched the 4-2 win.

In the quarterfinals, Hartono dominated 10th-ranked Katarina Jokic to give the Rebels a 2-0 lead against Georgia as they won 4-1 to advance to the semifinals. She followed up that win with an impressive win against No. 8 ranked Astra Sharma to get the Rebels on the board in the semifinal match against eventual champion Vanderbilt.

Ole Miss will have a break competition before NCAAs begin. The 64-team bracket and host sites will be announced May 1 at 4 p.m. CT. The Rebels are expected to host the first and second rounds.
