Rebel Softball Cancels Midweek Bout with Alabama State

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss softball's Wednesday matchup with Alabama State has been cancelled, announced Monday by head coach Mike Smith.
The game, originally scheduled for Wednesday at the Ole Miss Softball Complex, was to be Ole Miss' final non-conference matchup of the season. The Rebels wrap up non-conference play with a 23-5 record, including 11-2 in Oxford.
Following Monday's series finale at Arkansas, the Rebels will return home to Oxford to conclude the regular season in front of their home crowd in a three-game series against Georgia. Ole Miss will face off against the Bulldogs Friday through Sunday at the Ole Miss Softball Complex, with Saturday's game serving as the Rebels' Senior Day.
