• RB Scottie Phillips hauled in his first career receiving touchdown with a 38-yard TD reception in the first quarter ... Phillips is the fifth different Rebel to tally a TD reception this season.
• Phillips rushed a career-high 19 times for 112 yards yards and one touchdowns ... Phillips currently has five rushing touchdown and six total TDs on the season.
Jordan Ta'amu finished the game 28-for-38 for 442 yards and two touchdowns ... Ta'amu also tallied his fourth career rushing TD, first this season.
• It was Ta'amu's second 400-yard passing effort of 2018 and the third in his career, more than any other quarterback in Ole Miss history. 
• WR D.K. Metcalf finished with six catches for a game-high 102 yards and one touchdown ... It was the fourth straight game Metcalf has hauled in a touchdown reception. 
• WR A.J. Brown hauled in a game-high seven catches for 96 yards, including a long of 42 yards.
• Freshman RB Tylan Knight rushed for a career-high 62 yards on six carries, for an average of 10.3 yards per carry.

 DEFENSIVE NOTES
• The Ole Miss defense has forced at least two turnovers in three straight games for the first time since 2014.
• Coming into today's contest, Ole Miss has two sacks through three games ... The Rebels recorded seven sacks today vs. Kent State.
• Ole Miss held its opponent under 20 points for the first time since Sept. 24, 2016, when the Rebels held No. 11 Georgia to 14 points.
• DE Markel Winters became just the third Rebel, since 2010, to get three sacks in a single game joining Marquis Haynes (2017) and Jonathan Cornell (2010). 
• Winters finished the game with four total tackles, all of which resulted in negative yards for Kent State.
• DB C.J. Moore recovered a Kent State fumble during the fourth quarter ... It was the second straight game Moore tallied a fumble recovery.
Zedrick Woods, C.J. Moore and Mohamed Sanogo all led Ole Miss with seven total tackles.
• Moore's seven solo stops were a career-high.
• DE Brenden Williams recorded his first career sack ... It was just the junior's third career tackle.

 SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
• P Mac Brown punted four times for a 36.8 yards per punt, including a long of 47 yards.
• K Luke Logan connected on a 27-yard attempt and went 1-for-2 during the game ... Logan is now 5-for-6 on the season in field goal attempts.
