• QB John Rhys Plumlee led the Ole Miss rushing attack with a career-high 165 yards and one TD on 22 attempts ... Plumlee now has four total TDs on the season.
• RB Jerrion Ealy ran for a career-high 97 yards rushing and one touchdown on just four carries, for an average of 24.2 yards per carry.
• Ealy gained 86 of those 97 rushing yards after contact, which was third best among all SEC RBs this week.
• RB Snoop Conner rushed five times for 91 yards and one TD, the first of his career.
• The 84-yard run by Conner was the longest rush by an Ole Miss player since 2014 when Jaylen Walton tallied a 91-yard TD run against Mississippi State.
• Between Ealy and Conner, they combined for 178 yards after contact and seven missed tackles.
• WR Elijah Moore hauled in four receptions for 40 yards.
DEFENSIVE NOTES |
• The Rebels have now held four of their last five opponents to under 70 yards rushing.
• The six points were the fewest allowed by an Ole Miss defense since Oct. 24, 2015 vs. Texas A&M when the Rebels only gave up three points.
• Ole Miss held Vanderbilt to 0-for-11 on 3rd-and-7 or longer.
• It's the first time all season that the Ole Miss defense didn't force a turnover.
• ILB Lakia Henry tallied a career-high 15 total tackles, including one sack.
• ILB Jacquez Jones tied a career high with nine total tackles.
• DB Jaylon Jones tied a career high with seven total tackles.
• NT Benito Jones tied his career high with 2.5 tackles for loss ... His four quarterback hurries were a career high.
